Thank You

Sadly, today marks the official close of Motivarti.

We started Motivarti with a simple goal of connecting young aspiring artists with animation industry professionals.  Little did we know, we would get to meet so many people from all around the world who shared the same passion as us.  It has truly been a humbling experience.

As each of us here move on towards other goals, we’d like to thank everyone who has been a part of Motivarti over the past 5 years.  From the mentors to the instructors, to the applicants and the students, we are extremely grateful for everyone’s support and encouragement.  Had it not been for your enthusiasm, we would not have continued for as long as we did.

Although our time with Motivarti has come to an end, there are still plenty of resources out there for artists of all levels and we hope each of you continue your passion for further education.

Once again, we thank you for sticking with us and we wish you all the best.

Jackie Huang, Laura West, and Jessie Greenberg

  1. Thank you, Jackie, for being an inspiration to the animation community. My only regret was not having the confidence to be a mentor when Griselda Sastrawinata-Lemay introduced me to you at WonderCon. I was just starting out mentoring and teaching. Mentoring through Motivarti was a goal I had kept in mind. Sad that Motivarti is ending now that I’ve gained more experience. I know there are new avenues for me to pursue as a mentor but I look forward to seeing more of your amazing work. May the new year be fruitful and amazing for you and all the Motivarti memebers.

    • Thanks Peter! Although we’re no longer doing our mentorship, I’m glad to hear you’re still pursuing sharing your knowledge. Any one who learns from you is very lucky! Wishing you the best too!

    Oh man, please don’t go.

I was aggressively studying art and cartoons so that one day I could sign up to get mentored without feeling that I wasn’t good enough.

But stilll, I respect you guys’ opinion in leaving, and have an awesome artistic life you talented people.
